Why dont they make a lift...

That has longer top and bottom control arms and longer axle shafts, so tweaking the torsion bars wouldn't kill the cv angles and you would get a wider stance??

Isn't that what they did with the ZR2?

haha... kind of...

the 5-6 inch lift doesnt kill your tb's.... it lowers them along with the front diff..

Why would you lower your diff when what I said earlier can do the same thing but you can keep your diff outta harms way?

i didnt say you need to... just said thats the only way your gonna retain any stock front end angles...lol I agree they should make more truck friendly lifts

I wish they had a long arm kit as well. Jeeps get all the fun stuff...I just want better travel with less spine misalignment:D

Because cranking the torsion bars makes the ride stiffer. Cranking them past the allowable 1.5" that you can stock (which is where the cv and ball joint angle problems come into effect), would give you a HORRIBLE ride and nobody would buy the kit.

Maybe a kit could include upper and lower control arms, axles, and torsion bars designed to be lifted. Seems that would be better than a $2000 kit that just drops the suspension.

RE: Why dont they make a lift...

It'd be a lot more than $2000...

Haha yea...might as well buy a new vehicle for that. You're talking an entirely different suspension system...
