Default 1998 Blazer windshield wipers not working?

I'm assuming it's something electrical-related. May someone please help me out as I don't know how much I should look to spend to fix this? Thanks in advance.

Just saw your post, I too, have a 98 blazer and my wiper just stop while in operation while driving. Sometimes they start working if I wiggle the switch. So I trying to find info confirmimng that the switch is the issue because it goes for 130.00. Have you checked the fuse for the wipers ?

you may be able to get one at yard for 40.00 i did.
my blinker and wiper went out on the multi switch arm on the column.
an easy fix to swap out just a little tedious, but simple.

this may help. write-up on the surgery.

I've read online that the control module board can get a little flaky and cause erratic wiper operation. Apparently this is a somewhat common issue with these trucks, and a replacement board is even available at parts stores such as O'Reilly, etc. I was having some problems with my wipers over the summer, and I had considered swapping out this control board, but they have been working well for a while now, and I figured I'll wait until I experience some more strange behavior before bothering with it.
