Default 2000 2dr 2wd. Brake pedal activates rear wiper.

I noticed today while in my blazer at work, that when I push the brake pedal I hear the rear wiper try to move. Has anyone ever experienced this issue. The Blazer has been vary well taken care of.

Any time I step on the brakes it moves but goes back down to it's starting position. It happens when it's raining or dry just anything I use the brakes . I have not done any work on the break light or rear gate so I'm not sure what's causing it.
It is a 2000 sle jimmy

Take the two rear brake light bulbs out and tell me if it stops.

Hey George, I've got the same problem on 2000 Chevy Blazer LS, I've traced all my grounds clean them, removed all the LED bulbs and went back to incandescent bulbs, I tried your suggestion removed both brake lights, and the problem stopped. Hopefully you can tell me where to go from here, I've been banging my head over this one, and it's been driving me crazy every time I press the brakes the rear windshield wiper jumps, which is a real problem driving through town all the constant stopping.

Sincerely,
Robbie Fox
