Default 97 headlight/taillight upgrade

Hey guys,
I've got a 97 4dr and am lookin to upgrade my lighting, want something brighter that's going to last a long time, mainly thinking headlights, both high beams and low, and my backup lights, obviously wanting something brighter I thought LED but is that the best way to go? Any advice would be great guys, thanks

LED bulbs suck for correct light distribution in headlights. They work okay for tails and turns but you will spend a pretty penny to get good ones that'll last more than 2 weeks. If you really want better headlights, you should probably switch to the 98+ front end that has more aftermarket support than the 95 - 97 style.

Like Thog said, led bulbs are horrible for headlights.

As for the tail lights, what he said as well. Cheap plug and play bulbs are horrible for light output, vleds are great bulbs but the price tag is high.
