Aux 12v plugs under dash on passenger side

So I just bought an 2004 4dr 4x4. I work in a salvage yard, and it seems like every other Blazer or S10 we have here has the two 12v power outlets on the bottom of the dash on the passenger side, but this 2004 that I just bought doesn't :icon_question: Odd that they would stop adding in such a useful thing in 2004 suddenly???

So I got a panel out of one with the two plugs at work from another Blazer, and although it bolts right into place like it should, unless I'm missing something, I don't see where the truck is prewired for them.

Anyone else ever ran into this and tried to put the panel in with the plugs into a truck that didn't have them to begin with? I have no fears about wiring it up, it's only a hot and ground wire, and I'll most likely make them a constant on (more useful than ignition on in my opinion), I'm just curious if anyone's ever ran into this before.

I would like to add some aux 12V outlets to my '96 too. Is there a good place to tap into without going all the way to the battery? The empty spots in the fuse panel don't seem to have the guts in them.

i always like to leave one wired to shut off with the ignition so if you have something you only want on with the car on like a dash cam or radar detector you can leave it in that slot. you can just splice into the existing one but if you over load it you lose all 3 of them. i think on my daily driver i spliced into the radio harness
