Sorry for such a late reply, but yes it is a 4 door lt. I don't really mind the headlight thing much. Thanks for all the replies! I got the check engine light checked today. Apparently it's my egr valve and a slight miss on cylinder 3. He said a tune up should fix the miss, and I can just replace an egr valve pretty easily.

That year you can disable the DRL's by just pulling a fuse. At least that is the way it is on the S10's

The EGR valves rarely fail on these vehicles. Pull it off and clean out the carbon around the pintle using carb cleaner and make sure it moves freely before putting it back on. Quite simple to do. You may need a new gasket before re installing.
