Default Brake Lights staying on

Aloha Everypne,

I hope this is the right thread for my problem. I have a 2002 trail blazer and intermittantly the rear brake lights (right, left and 3rd light above cargo door) are staying on. Does anyone have any insight to help me troubleshoot and correct this?

Mahalo,
Chuck aka Loco

Update:

I jiggled the brake pedal and got the lights to tun off. Would this point to some kind of switch?

Thanks again,
Chuck aka Loco

that would point to a brake switch....
or i've seen it when a brake job was recently done and the fluid wasn't bled properly all the way.
But in your case likely the switch.
