Default Cruise Control Issues

Well Last night my cruise control just stoped working. Went to use it on the highway and nothing. Checked all the fuses and they are good, Disconnected the battery for about 5min and that didnt do anything. Any suggestions?

Check out these diagnostic steps (see attached).

DIAGNOSTIC AIDS

IMPORTANT: Perform the following in order to avoid misdiagnosis.
  • Inspect for proper operation of brake lamps.
  • Inspect throttle linkage for mechanical binding which could cause the system to malfunction.
  • Inspect cruise control cable adjustment, should have minimum slack.
  • EMI on the speed sensor signal circuit may cause erratic cruise control operation.
CONDITIONS FOR ENABLING CRUISE CONTROL

No, it doesn't apply. Please create a new thread on your topic so as not to drag this one away from the OP who hasn't reported back whether he has fixed his problem yet.
