Default Dash lights

I want to change the lights in my 2000 gmc jimmy dash behind my speedometer, oil pressure, voltage, temp, and fuel to blue lights. But I don't know what size/number the lights are. Also want to change the ones in the lock controls, light selector/fog light switch, and the ones in the radio. But like I said I dont know what bulbs/LEDs I need. Can someone help me with this?
Also are the ones in the 4 wheel drive selector change able?

I'd thought about doing the same but have not got around to it yet.... but as for the size bulbs you can check your manual or take off your dash and take a note of what bulbs are located where or just go online www.sylvania.com and choose your vehicle.

I've already done the led's in the gauge cluster and it seems easier to change them in a 98+ then with the 95-97. By this, I mean fit them over the steering column and since my automatic shifter is on the column, it is even a little bit harder. But as far as bulb sizes, the gauge cluster bulbs are 194's. The bulbs have to be wedge-based because the way they fit into the socket. I only had 5 bulbs in the back of my cluster but you might have 6 since it's a 98+. There are different bulbs to consider though. I went with a 360 degree bulb because I think they light up the cluster better. Some people have gone a different route though.

These bulb numbers for the rest should help you out.
Linky to bulby numbers for ya

Yeah and the ones in the 4x4 switch are 74s, at least in the 95-97s. You might want to double check though.

Speaking of 4x4, I haven't checked into replacing the bulb for the manual shifter (for the 4x4) near the floor on mine with an led. I think it's replaceable? Do you know for sure Thogert?

All gm gauge lights are actually 162. Same base as a 194 but a bit dimmer. Most people put higher watt 194 in and in normal bulbs they burn hotter. Most places even list the replacement wrongly as 194. This is the reason you often see burnt plastic cause the higher wattage.

Dealing with leds go with the 194 and get a brighter bulb since heat isn't a factor.

In a first gen the floor shifter hold 4 or 5 and they are the same as the dash.
