Door locks & wiring HELP

My '98 Blazer just had an aftermarket Viper 350HV security alarm installed. Before the install, all my locks worked flawlessly using the control arm on the drivers side and passengers side. Now my door locks won't open when i'm inside the car with the engine on. When I turn the car off, the doors automatically unlock.

Also, my trunk release on my dash no longer operates and the locking push button/latch on the trunk won't release. The installer mentioned something about every time I pressed the unlock button on the driver's side control arm it was blowing a fuse/shorting. Now the alarm will still chirp and engage on the keyless entry remote but won't physically lock the doors anymore.

The installer made a temporary adjustment so I could lock/unlock the doors using my drivers side control panel again, the problem is all the doors EXCEPT the drivers side door will lock and i have to push the actual lock down with my finger. He said most of the wiring seems to be working properly, but somewhere along the lines there is a short. What should I do?

so it was fine before the install? if thats the case it sounds like he didnt install diodes on the power door lock circuit going to the alarm module which is blowing the fuses or he did a half a$$ install and didnt make a good connection/tape job and its shorting to ground.
