Drivers Door Lock and Remote Problems
 

On my 1999 Blazer, my drivers door power lock won't work at all, all the buttons on the drivers door work(windows and lock/unlock) the lock/unlock buttons just works for all the other doors.
Also my remote doesn't work at all, I put a new battery in it and checked it at the auto parts store so the remote is sending out a signal, I tried to reprogram the remote to the Blazer but it is like the Blazer doesn't receive the signal at all.
Do you think these problems might be related? Any ideas on where to start to fix this?
