Driving light question

I am trying to finish the install of my new Hella 500 FF driving lights, and I am gong to tap into the parking lights, but I don't know which wire to tap into. There is a brown wire and a blue one. As soon as I finish this I am done. Any input would help.

RE: Driving light question

I wouldn't do it off the parking lights. Get you a relay and a switch.

I don't know how the pos cops are in your area but if your driving around with "offroad lights" here on all the time they slap you with an excess lighting fine. Its almost to the point we have to have the covers on them while on the street or they try to claim we are running them. My dad got pulled over in his old yota with lights on a roll bar that weren't even hooked up because the cop claimed he saw him flashing them at passing cars.

Too many idiot kids that like to spotlight game at night and bright light passing cars I guess.

RE: Driving light question

well like i said in the fog light question... i did the same thing and i tapped mine in to my low beams... which made my lights into the quadbeam... pretty badass... look at the fog light question and i have all the wireing colors in there..

use an add a circuit if it doesnt exceed 10amps and your install will be alot easier just crimp your positive into the included splice

they make mini and the standard size. make sure you get the right one i made that mistake and had to go back:icon_doh:
