Default Is it electical or just gone bad?

My windshield wipers worked for a minute after starting truck, then they stopped in middle of windshield...then worked all the way to work...then after work, they wouldnt turn on.

Twisting the switch, I can hear it buzz but no movement. Also, the windshield wiper fluid pump doesnt work since the wiper motor quit.

Snow is melting and im kinda worried itll rain, and ill have no way to clear windshield (could do the Rain-X) but would rather have wipers.

Got a wiper motor off an older blazer but it doesnt seem to work...same motor as mine...but the motor has been sitting out in the elements.

(if someone could post a how to on removing wiper motor, that would be great!)

Hey, I have that same problem with my 1997 blazer. Mine would sometimes make a little buzzing sound and sometimes not. Honestly, I have done some further research about this problem and that is to replace the whole windshield control unit/turn signal located on the steering column.
I've been putting rain x on my windshield for now, although where I live its not raining a whole lot maybe once every two weeks, but when I go visit family its on the other side of the mountains where it rains all the time regardless of the season. The problem I have right now is finding someone who is parting out a blazer because I am not going to pay $150 dollars to autozone for a whole new unit..

I found this forum, not sure if this will help since your blazer is a 92, but I am going to give this a try once I get some spare time and see if this makes a difference.
