electric fan

Im sure this has been discussed but I couldnt find my exact answer.

I just got a Hayden 650cfm single fan and Im curious if this is enough to cool the motor enough or will I need another one?

Nope. MAYBE if you only drive on open freeway, no city, or towing or offroad. Then there's AC, around suburbs.
here's some threads about it.

I use a pair of 12" 1150 CFM fans that are soon to be hooked up to a thermostat so they regulate. An important issue a lot of people miss is that while the fans come with the provisions to be mounted directly ON the radiator this is far from an ideal way to mount them. The best method/way I've found is to get them pre-mounted on a housing or make one for them so they draw air in through as much of the radiator as possible. About an inch or so away from the radiator seems to work well on mine & I tow regularly in the summer.
You have oil cooling lines, trans cooling lines & the A/C coils in-front to cool, so drawing air through all of the radiator is very important for cooling of all the components.
Also, think about how the stock cooling is set up. It's set up to use the fan shround to draw air through all of the radiator. Keep that in mind when planning your set up.
