Electrical Problems. Wont Start.
Earlier today i was trying to fix the power seats on my 2001 Blazer LT 4.3L, i tried everything from checking all the fuses, to checking all the wires running to the control on the seat.
The next step i tried was accessing the BCM, and checking the power seat relay. i removed it and put it back in, and it didnt fix anything. Now when i put the key in there sounds like a clicking/winding noise coming from the inadvertent power relay switch that lasts for about 3 seconds, then stops. then does it again, then stops. until i try to use an accessory ie: power windows, then it just kills power altogether. there is no power going to any accessories, power windows, ignition, radio, headlamps, wipers, nothin. If i take the inadvertent power relay switch out of the BCM, it doesnt make any winding/grinding noises anymore. everything was working fine before i dropped the BCM out from under the dash to access it. Vehicle has new battery, alternator, and all the fuses are good. any idea what might be going on? thanks |
