fuel pump voltage
is there a way to put 12 volts to the fuel pump with out going thrue the wireing harnes on a 98 chevy blazer 2 door v- 6, I have had 2 fuel pumps
go bad and now another, so am trying to isolate to see if it is a elect. problem.or another bad pump, witch have been delfi pumps, I have also replaced plugs, wires, cap& router and fuel relay just to rule them out, I can't find info on recall's but 3 bad pump's ?. The blazer will start after I put a little gas in the carb. and run fine but not after I turn it off and it only has 42psi. be for I try to start it and 61 after it run's . Side note - the flasher unit behind the glove box keep's going off unless I but my foot on the brake? Thank's for your help if you know Dale |

There should be a spot in the engine bay to put a jumper wire to add 12v to the fuel pump (its the fuel pump test area) I am not sure where that is, as I do not own a 2nd gen. someone should know.

i guess the PROPER way of doing it is to buy a relay jumper kit and jump the relay to power the pump. had to do lots of that when we had a plague of bad gas in the area last year. it was either that or just use a power probe and power the wire going to the pump by the tank
