Default Headlights aren't working.

Hello, I have a 2000 4 door lt, I'm having issues with the headlights and I already replaced the main switch hoping that it would fix the problem, but it didn't, the only way I can use my headlights is with the parking brake set slightly on while driving, if disengaged, they shut off AGAIN AND WHILE ENGAGED i HAVE NO DRIVING Lights, I would like to resolve this asap.

Thanks in advance.

if i had to guess, could it maybe be a faulty automatic headlight sensor located either in your defroster vent or passenger speaker grille. do you have normal headlights (halogen), or aftermarket like HIDs

do your Daytime Running Lights come on? when the vehicle isnt in park they should come on

I have HIDs, and bypassed the auto lights sensor, its strictly turned on by the main switch.

That is an issue your HID's are causing most likely. Try un-hooking them and putting in halogens to see if the problem is corrected.

Check all your grounds and look for any toasty wires. Then start checking for power. Check the switch first then start tracing to the headlights from there.
