Help!
Assuming you KNOw the A/C fuse and relay in underhood FB are good
Ohm out clutch coil pins {right behind pulley} with connector off
- should be 8 ohms or less
If good..
Remove cycling switch connector on accumulator {shiny bottle} and ohm out.
- should be 0 ohms or near. if not, lightly tap with screwdriver handle. If now ) probale bad sw.
Still not ..
You either have no a/c gas or switch is bad
To check for gas..
Short across the pins of the cycle sw harness connector.
Engine running in A/C on, the clutch should engage..
- if not problem is elsewhere
- if compressor runs, let it run ten seconds and line into accum bottle should cool.
If it does, replace switch.
If it doesnt cool, no gas in system, sw is probably good.
Note: low gas results in clutch on for second or two then back off for seconds then on again. and not much cooling in line to accum
