help finding parasitic drain

Looking for a parasitic drain. I burned up my volt meter so I don't have one. Without that is there a way to find the culprit?

The only way I know of is with a volt meter connected between the disconnected negative battery cable and the negative battery post. Then remove fuses 1 at a time and when the volts drop to pretty much 0 you've found the problem circuit. Your meter may not be smoked. Most have a fuse under the cover.

Yeah meter was smoked. Just bought a new fluke. Time to fix this thing.

Ok so I started testing fuse by fuse. All fuses in read 1.80a. Then after a min or so dropped to .49a. Only fuse pulled that dropped the reading was my RAP fuse which dropped it to .01a. Now I know what this fuse is for. Is there any reason for the reading to start at 1.80 then drop to .49? It seems to have jumped back up to 1.8 for a few seconds then back down to .49. I'm lost.
Also can I remove the fuse and things still work with the key on? Can I just remove the fuse until I find the culprit?

What year is it? Does it have a factory alarm? The dome lights stay on for a minute or so. The retained accessory power circuit stays on for 20 minutes. If it were mine I would remove the fuse when parked but I'm not sure if that will disable your anti-theft. It's difficult to get detailed technical info on the anti-theft system for obvious reasons.

It's a 99. Sorry for the late reply. I've removed the fuse. Been removed since my last post and all is working fine. It does have anti-theft but I have no key fobs. The drain is gone and no recharging necessary. When I can afford new fobs then I'll worry about fixing the problem. Thanks for all of your advice.
