Default How do i clear codes on my 98 blazer?

There has to be a way to clear memory. Had the VSS sensor go bad. replaced it only to be told it had to be reset. Cost me $25 at garage to reset it to find out the new sensor is bad. Not paying to reset. Any help, ANY? thanks

The only way to clear all DTC's from the memories, (pending and history) is with a scan tool. Disconnecting the battery will NOT clear DTC's. Be advised, clearing memories will also clear all freeze frame data, and reset all monitors.

Thanks Captain Hook. This I know, From researching this I found this VSS goes thru several components including radio. [smh] But to pay $25 just to clear, NOT run codes is ????? thanks again, I really enjoy reading the articles.
