How and what do i need to run some more lights
Well here goes. Shortly after messing up installing my kc's on my brush guard. I took them in to a local shop and had them installed along with my radio and the rest of my sound system (sub, ampl speakers).
My next plan was to get a roof basket and put some lights on it. I've got the basket and when I went in to the shop and asked if they could do so e roof lights on it. They told me they would have to do some digging (call their parts suppliers) and they came up with that it would have to be some kind of custom mounting. So to some it up it was a ridiculous price. So I told them to forget about it since it was a lot of $$$. They're a good shop with decent prices.
So now since things will be warming up in the next month or two I have set out again to put some lighst on my basket. Here's what I've come up with so far.
4 55watt lights
4X Universal 6" Six inch 4x4 55W Off Road Light Truck Driving Fog Chrome Lamp | eBay
Which would be 4.5833333 amps per light? I want to run the lights on two separate circuits so I can pick which two of the lights are on.
I was thinking of using 14 or 16 guage wiring for them. Will that be ok? Is there a size that would be better?
Next I'm not sure what size relay to use and will I need an inline fuse If so how can I add one/ what kind?
Does anyone have a wiring diagram for running lights directly to the battery?
As you might be able to tell I'm not looking to spend the money on four new kc's and I have little to no experience with wiring.

Thanks that's a pretty good write up, I can't help but feel like I'm betraying our blazers looking at that forum lol.
That answers most of my questions but I'm still not quite sure what gauge wire to use. Does anyone have any suggestions?

you could also go with a single bar which would put out equal if not better light, and one switch needed
