Instrument Cluster Help.

Hey guys, I have a 1997 Blazer with a floor shift. I have a 1996 parts truck with a column shift but the instrument cluster has a tach. What i was wondering is if you can change the two out without any problems. Thanks.

I'm a little confused on what you are asking. I know the title says instrument cluster help but then you mentioned a floor shift and column shift. If you are talking strictly the instrument clusters, 1995-1997 instrument clusters are interchangeable. I used to have a tachless instrument cluster but then installed one with a tach. I like seeing the rpm's. It was all plug n play if you are wondering. The install sucked because the column shifter got in the way and you had to remove a few things to get access to the cluster, but not bad. Wish I had a floor shifter.

Sweet, i just needed to know that it would work. but What I meant is my blazer has a floor shift in it and the one I want to put in is a column shift with the shift indicator in the cluster.
