Well, LEDs don't get hot enough to melt the plastic. They tend to stay pretty cool. LEDs also have very little resistance, so, They might make your signal blink fast unless you have an HD flasher unit. I'm not too sure. Where'd you get the LED bulbs from? How much?

i just got them from autozone they were 17 bucks a pack lol i watnt to get the rest of the lights led weres the best place to get them an no i dont have the hd flasher unit lol or at lest i dont think i do

cbr995 Nov 10, 2009 08:27 AM

That's not bad. I beleive if you have a tow package, it has an HD flasher. Just put them in, and see how they work out.

Hmm. I would try going to Auto Zone, or Advance Auto Parts or trying eBay maybe. I'm not sure, I don't know where to get something like that. Sorry.

Okay, I found some on eBay that may work. They replace old relay woth one built fo LED and filament bulbs. They don't say if they will fit but it's a three pin hookup. Go to eBay motors, and type in turn signal flasher relay under the parts and accessories search if you want to see them.

You can get the electronic flasher at autozone, its like 10 bucks or so.

yea what you need is a load capacitor/equalizer

i had the same thing happen when i switched my front parking lights to clear corners and swapped amber leds in.

the bulbs you bought were like this? but maybe red.
