Default Looking for a LED Light Bar

Does anyone run an LED light bar in that little space between the hatch and bumper? If so, what brand did you use. I've searched most of the net and I can only find like the 3 inch wide 49" long ones. I have a 98 and no way will 3 inches work. I need a slim bar at around 49". I would like the type that functions as running, brake and turn signal. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Maybe it's not even possible but most of these tailgate light bars advertise as fitting SUV also.

Thanks...

W

You're looking for something along the lines of this right?

It lights up when breaking, and half of it turns on with each turn signal? If so, here is one: http://www.plasmaglow.com/catalog/pr...products_id=76 Albeit a very expensive one. I've heard very good things about Plasmaglow's products though. Verno has one installed on his truck. He has what they call the Fire & Ice bar, which also changes to white when you reverse.
Here are some of their products on ebay. A lot cheaper then buying direct from them:

fire and ice one: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/FIRE-...s#ht_928wt_939

Hope this helps.

How much was it, if you don't mind me asking? And where did you pick it up?

Yours must be their "Firestorm" one. I saw it on their website when I was looking at the fire & ice one.

I had a plasmaglow on my blazer. The trailer hitch wiring is shot, so it is off right now. I bought mine at Advance Auto Parts. Not sure if they still carry plasmaglow products. I want to get the amber ones that go down the side of the truck too, Ive seen them on a few trucks around here and they look pretty cool with the red bar in the back.

Yep exactly what I'm looking for... My worry though is that between where the tailgate closes and where the bumper starts theres only about an inch (I measured 7/8th) of room to run a bar/strip on a plastic piece. The width/height dimension I can get on some of these Led Tailgate bars are around 3-5 inches. Might have to write or call plasmaglow to get the width. I Can't run it across the bumper, its not a straight horizontal run (Hitch Area). I'll stop in at Autozone and take a look also...
