low beams not drls staying on constantly
I have 8k hids in for my lows. I was behind a car in broad day light and noticed they were on. Looked at the switch to the left of the steering wheel and that was off...what could make them turn on and keep on constantly. The only thing I've done is take out the side mirror switch because it got wet...idk if that has anything to do with it but who knows with this truck lol
Any ideas? |
how about the speaker grill on the right side of the dash? is there a bunch of stuff on it?
Nah my dash is always kept clean and was just wiped down 2 days ago. But it just started today...out of curiosity is that why the black bubble is on there? Lol
any way the sensor could have went bad? is that common? |
the sensor goes bad and if the HID's was not bypassed when you turn on the car and override the DRLs it will "Freeze lock them on"... I had that issue with 2 of my past blazer/jimmy
HID's and DRLS do not mix, you need to eliminate one or the other.... simply put.
I have had them for 3 years so far and never had this problem. The drls always came on fine and when it got dark the his came on. The drls are supposed to project out of the high beams right? I didn't put them in originally my friend did
And i forgot to specify. The hids are only in the low beams not highs. The highs are still standard halogens.
It worked fine this morning when it was a little dark. But this afternoon in direct light the his came and stayed on...whats my options given I'm not taking the his out lol....and why all the sudden after 3 years is this happening
