No power, limited electronics...
Hi all,
Getting ready to head out this morning and noticed that when I place the key in the ignition and turn, there was nothing. No sound, no click, no attempt to start over, nothing. Now, I didn't have any issues the last day I drove (Tuesday afternoon) nor did I notice a low level on the meter when driving it. After trying a few times, I noticed the following:
• Clicking sound when the key is in the ignition in "start". This sound seems confined to the fuse box area
• After every-so-many attempts I'll get one click when turning the key over. Never more than one.
• Only lights on the panel are SES and battery, which flickers.
• No headlights, and the interior light is incredibly dim.
• No windows/radio/turn signals
• The "door open" sound is random.
Normally I would think it's the battery, but I'm not exactly sure here. 2002 Blazer. Any help appreciated.

Sorry for not getting back on this one. It was the battery. Volts were under 9. I was worried about it being the alternator because of the manner everything was working/not working, so swaped it out, good to go. Although I did notice the SES light is now blinking (it was on, but never blinked) but I haven't had a chance to run it down to get codes read. Is this a normal thing when batteries completely die?
Either way, thanks, and I'll have the codes and in a proper thread placement in the morning.
