Oh no did my cluster burn?

when i turn the ignition on the ses light will light up also with all the other test lights but no gauges will work . Also the mileage wont light up either .
Has any 1 have this happen ?

I did check the fuses and there all good every thing else works in the truck

this is on my 1992 s10 blazer and it has a digital cluster

thanks in advance guys

Congrats john, the worse gm cluster gm ever made virus hit your blazer. As it did mine.

You can either do that $100+core thing on ebay. or do the digital to analog conversion like i did. It was easy, just a billion little wires behind the cluster to put together. If you can hook up a cd player, you can do the swap.

digital analog conversion ? keep talking please lol i do like the cluster tho =(

chris015 Sep 8, 2011 07:22 PM

the analog ones are better!

heres a link i used. its a analog to digital How to. but just do it in reverse. all you really need is the which wires go where part.

lol thats going to drive me insane i think imma get a rebuild one the only thing thats going to suck is the mileage is going to be off

Unless i can call this guy and make him rebuild my original one

chris015 Sep 8, 2011 07:33 PM

Yea,do that. the conversion was actually EASY. I hate wiring but i had it done in 45 min. Just takes time and patience.

xgiovannix12 Sep 8, 2011 07:42 PM

i don't have patience lol and i called a junk yard today and they wanted 250 bucks

I think there crazy :icon_nut:

chris015 Sep 8, 2011 08:31 PM

250.00!!??!?!??! I can get you one at my local pick n pull for $40.00 plus shipping. They had a bunch of digitals around last time i was there, problem is theres no way i can test one there. They have the analogs for 25. they usually all work.

.

Dude, you need to switch junk yards. Those people are high lol. They have plenty 1st gens just like yours at my pull-a-part. You can be out the door with warranty with your cluster for about $28. Can't beat that.
