Overhead Console Swap!
 

So my 1999 Chevy blazer already has a OHC but it doesnt have home link so i went to the local junk yard to get one and found out it has a 5 wire plug wheres mine only has a 4 wire plug...

4 Wire plug has -
Red
Orange
Black
Purple/Yellow

5 Wire Plug has -
Red
Orange
Black
Purple/Yellow

AND

Green?????




Does any one know what the green wire is for?? i found a wiring diagram from one of the other post it it says its a LED Dimming Signal...

theres no yellow wire on the one i got from the junk yard so im thinking that doc i got is wrong.. Does any one know what that green wire is?


The green wire is coming from the homelink module

any one?

I did a how to on the upper console...did you check that out?
