power draw

I'm new to the forum so not real familiar with things but what I have going on is I have a 1994 Blazer that has a draw on the battery I believe I have it narrowed down to the radio and dome lights because when I remove that fuse the draw quits, its not just the little draw that comes with the clock it runs the battery down in a couple days, all the lights work it seems so I don't know what to look for or what would be causing that I would appreciate any help, thanks

Parasitic drains are tough. Have you measured the actual drain with an Amp meter?

Is it the stock radio or aftermarket? I would look for a light that's staying on where you can't see it (glovebox or under the hood, maybe?) or possibly something stuck in one of the 12V power ports (if they're on the same fuse).

I have a 98 Blazer LT 4x4 and when I bought it my battery would be dead or almost dead trying 2 start it the next day... Long story short, I found that both the driver and passenger side visor lights were not shutting off. They are suppose 2 shut off when you flip them up against the headliner... I simply took out the little bulbs and haven't had the problem since... Just an idea for you 2 check out :)

The 94's are straight forward. With the ignition key "off" all the boxes are without power. So the draw should near zero (just the radio/clock). I would assume less than 10 mA.
My battery held out for 3 months with the old radio and roughly 5 weeks with the new radio. This one draws slightly more.

I would disconnect the radio to further narrow it down as it is accessible and has a connector. All the advice is sound and at this time no additional sources come to my mind where to look.

Then my usual advice - look for "non OEM" electrical wiring.
