Power seats, help please!

Is there any way to raise and move both driver and passenger seats on a 98 or newer Bravada? Trying to salvage ta pair from the junkyard and theres no power or steering assemblie to be able to change that.

Not sure but u won't need the steering column to adjust the seats...just a battery, there is constant power to seats.........:icon_idea1:

Awesome thank you very much. I will steel the batterie out of my truck before I leave for the yard! I assume if they don't work with batterie hooked up they are not any good

i was going to say, just bring with and hook up a battery. and you should be good, if they do not work, check fuses first before giving up

Lol yep fuses were gone . I called dealer and they said its a circuit breaker actually. I found one blazer in tact so I stripped all fuses and they worked. Driver seat won't move forward though . Everything else is good though . Any ideas?

Did u ever try to sit in the seat, & try to help it along while holding the button???? It's worked countless times for me!!!! :icon_steer: sometime they get stuck

There was another gentlemen there so i tried pushing from behind as he told it to go forward with no luck. Its all the way back I'm getting ready to install driver side now. My thought's are a bad switch I can here it activate to go backwards but not forwards.

Will a non memory switch work on a memory programmable seat? I was thinking I could switch the control panels back and fourth and just set the memory for me and my gf.
That's assuming its just a switch problem of course.

I'm almost don with replacing the entire interior.

Honestly, i cannot answer that!! I say give it a try..... What i meant was while sitting in the seat....use your leg muscles to help pull seat forward while pushing the button!!!!

There is a plastic tube that houses a flexible shaft that connects the seat forward/backward motor from the left seat track to the right seat track. Make sure this is still in place. Often times they get yanked off by someone who thinks the seat is a manual. If it's missing, only the drivers side track will move and it will get cockeyed and the seat won't move at all unless you manually move the right side track.
