problems with interior lights!

Hi all,
my 2002 blazer has a problem, the interior lights (all) and the 3rd brakelight won't work suddenly?
It did worked well, but suddenly it quits! fuses are fine!
I guess some cable work, don't know where to start searching!
Hope someone has ideas to help me out!
Thanks, nice holidays.:icon_tree:

Fuse!!!

The salesman assured me that the mechanic had checked the fuses, I checked them myselve again, guess what,1 fuse was missing, so now we have interrior lights!!:icon_bricks:
Now only the brake light is not worky???

I remember reading somewhere that there is a fuse or relay somewhere for the 3rd brake light, I am not sure where though.

Pretty sure there is a CHMSL (center high mount stop light) fuse under the hood.

If there is something I have learned about dealers is that you never can trust what they say. I like my blazer now but when I first got it it was problem after problem in the first month. glad you fixed your lights tho.

Yes, that's the one!! unfortunally this one is good!
I saw that they peeled off the insulation of the yellow wire, so the problem exists longer!
If you pull at that cable, maybe a kind of connector will show up? or should the cargo interrior light mount be removed? I did not tried it yet!:icon_no:

if you take off the interior panel with the rear dome light off, there is a connector where the 3rd brake light hooks up to
