Rear Gate Issues
 

I have a 2001 Chevy Blazer SL with a rear gate that only wants to unlock from the inside sometimes. I have no clue how to go about exploring whats causing the problem. I've taken the gate apart looked around and lubricated everything. There is some piece of blue plastic that looks like it holds the actuator in place and I'm wondering if its worn out(still looks completely intact).

The lock from the outside will lock and unlock the doors but when its pressed in nothing happens. Not sure if that is part of the problem or another issue all together.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
