Question about 1996 Blazer High Beam when lights off
After having a blazer for the past 8 years I've finally decided to start "making something of it" and this has involved fixing the Emergency switch, replacing the internal bulbs with LEDs and also checking into what I can do about the headlights.
From my understanding I can run Low beams on LED without an issue, any LED on the high / DRL side needs to run on 6v to allow the DRLs to keep running.
This isn't my question!
After a lot of messing around with the car I've got a question for others with a 95,96,97 blazer. When the headlights are set to off or only your parking lights on are you able to engage high beam? In my car I know I dont have "flash to pass", but in addition the high beam will only engage when the low beam headlights are set to on. I've been trying to look for wiring diagrams etc and cannot for the life of my answer if this is default or if something isnt quite working.
