Strange dome light problem
 

I have a 1995 Jimmy that the Dome light, with the doors closed, after 5 seconds will "dim" but not turn off...same thing happens when open/close any door....even with key turned off..never turns completly off, just dims? Making me crazy, especially driving at night!! Could use some help...don't think it is a door switch? because the timer/relay acts like the doors are closed andtries to turn it off .....Where/what relay controls automatic timer for dome light to turn off???...think that maybe a possible?? Strange, I know, lol
