Strip parking lights LED conversion? 96'
 

I want to convert the strip parking lights (the ones on the bumper) to LED

How hard would that be?

What number bulb is in there now?

How many bulbs?

I kind of wanted to have LED's spanning the whole thing and not just a cluster bulb replacement.

Edit:
looked under the car, took the bulb out.

Still, I want to the LED's to span the entire housing in the front.

How hard would that be?

Is it really necessary?

I've looked far and wide for pre-made led parking lights and have yet to find any. I plan on making some once I have the time. If you find any pre-made let me know.

ebay has them. i just ordered a pair today. Clear lenses with led bulbs for $43.00 and free shipping.

That's not the "strip" conversion I was thinking of.

Also I'm pretty sure you can just get that bulb for the stock parking lights.

My parking lights are already clear...

My fault. I wasnt sure if you meant the euro clears. I've never seen them. You could probably just get the LED strip and take the headlight apart if you felt like doing that much work lol.

For the 98+ LED corners....does that mean you want to do the conversion upfront? If so those are pretty cool. Eventually after i hack down my list of TO-DO's on the Blazer im gonna do the conversion.

Possibly, not sure tho.

HIDplanet.com has tons of how toos on LED convertions. I swapped out my 1st gen grille lights to light up whole instead of the one bulb at the bottom. Its not really that hard if you can solder.
