Tach wire????
 

vehicle is a 2000 jimmy 4x4 4 door consoul shift ( if it makes a diference) . yesterday i installed a compustar CS600S remote start / keyless entry. all works great.. except for the fact i cannot find a tach wire on this truck for the life of me. i searched the site and the rest of the web to no avail. im hoping one of the genius people out there can help me . ive tried the WHT/BLK wire at the coil and at the ignition module. no go.

Yep, white wire off of the ICM connector.

thanks for the help. i tried this wire before , but i read deeper into the manual and i had to change default settings to the tach mode. all works great now. thanks!

hey i have been looking for this wire for a while now do you think you could help me out as well? i cant find the wire for the life of me nor do i know about this default settings thing. haha ive had my tach in the truck for about 5 months and havent been able to figure it out yet! thanks guys
