wow just got an education on timing this motor very simple once you get it figured out. next time wont even use reference mark. Try to follow these steps. cylinder one TDC. align white mark on shaft with dimple on bottom of shaft, align drive slot, you do this blind with long slotted screwdriver, drop it in. BAM she fires right up! :icon_flamethrow:
