Turn signal arm replacement
Does anyone happen to know if a turn signal arm from a 1999 blazer will work in my 1997? I would really rather not have to rip apart everything if it wont

1999 is NOT interchangeable with 1997. On 1997, with and without cruise control are different, and both are ~$300.
|
PNP is also an option

I found one on eBay for $72 aftermarket. Works and looks great. Do a search. It's a PITA to change though!
|
wow.... just wow. Why 300 exactly? i mean i'm doing the work myself so labor isn't an issue.
Thanks ckroll98 I'll have to check that out. |
I have heard that the aftermarket ones (cheaper ones) wear out much faster, and you will be in the same boat as before) I would check a u-pull yard. dirt cheap, you can pull a couple.

In the "good ole days" you could replace just the lever: pull the old one out, push the new one in. Done in 2 seconds!. "Progress" means you have to replace the entire multifunction switch, which entails taking the upper column covers off to get at the dang thing. One good thing about the multifunction switch is now you can replace the hazard switch in 2 seconds! In the "good ole days" it meant removing the steering wheel and replacing the entire turn signal switch.
