Wire To Cigarette Lighter on 87 K5 Blazer

The cigarette lighter on my Blazer is disconnected and am unable to find the wire that connects to it. I've searched through my Haynes book with no luck on the wire color or power source at the fuse block. I'd greatly appreciate it if someone would take a look at their cigarette lighter and tell me the color wire!

it's orange.

off the top of my head, i'm pretty sure i remember it running right across the whole dash. i think it's tied into the power supplying the pin switches. and those are white & tan in the pillars.

been awhile since i've had to mess with any of my full size vehicles, so my memory of what it's tied into may be off.

Yes, the wire is either "orange" or "orange and white". I also believe it is tied into the pin switches, and is in the pillars, my pillars have a hole cut in each side, not sure if yours does, and its the same color wire as the one connected to the cigarette lighter.

I found the orange wire. It was spliced in to another orange wire that goes to the floor light fixture. (see attached photos) I'll remove the splice and check for voltage on the removed wire. If there is 12V, then I will attach the proper connector for the lighter, cut the unshielded line to the light, add a strip of heat shrink, solder the line, apply the heat shrink to the exposed copper and solder line and call it good. Thanks for your help!
