Won't Start
Hello,
Need help i have a 88 K5 blazer Throttle body 5.7. I recently changed out battery that i bought in 2013, truck has been sitting for a while close to 6 months.
I bought new battery, light come on but truck wont even crank at all.
Need some advise.

Not a K5 expert so my advice is generic. It sounds like your engine will not move at all. If so, I'd remove the plugs and then try to manually turn the crank to make sure it is not seized. If it is not siezed, I'd take out the starter and text it. If it works or you get a new one that does work, I'd install it and with the plugs still removed I'd squirt some oil into each of the cylinders and then crank the engine until the oil pressure has come up enough to register on the oil-pressure gauge or the oil pressure idiot light goes out. Then I'd put the plugs back in and then try to start it. If it still doesn't start, I'd check for spark at the plugs. If there is spark, it could be a lack of fuel and you'd have to check the fuel supply pressures, etc.
