97 Maxima sputters and shakes sometimes...

Hi folks, my wife has a 97 Nissan Maxima that is acting weird! It is sputtering, jerking kinda when coming too a stop, accelerating, on cruise and at idle. The thing is, it dosen't do it all the time! It will do fine on her way to work but act up on her way home. It will go a day or 2 with no issue only 2 start acting up again... I have changed the plugs and wires, dist cap, ect... I have been trying to get info on her car from youtube and I even joined a Maxima Forum trying 2 figure this out. If anyone has advice send it my way please, thanks...

Sounds like a pump going out, or a bad filter starting to get clogged maybe?
