Default anyone run two wash machines?

i got a new washmachine and kept my old one around to wash greasy clothes and shop rags, just wondering if the water will be evenly dispersed i just dont wanna starve one and burn up a pump or anything. the electrical part should be fine as they are on different circuits im just running a splitter on the water lines

Should be fine as a washing machine detects the level of water in the tub through a small tube running up to a sensor. Therefore, you shouldn't have to worry about starving one or the other of water. You might run into a problem when the machine is pumping the water out of the tub if you have both doing it at the same time, though. Could be more than the drain can handle.

ha didnt even think of that.. worse case scenario if it does over flow the tub its a concrete floor and the drain is about 4 feet away on the floor so nothing a towel wont solve

Yes the drain issue & the only other 'issue' I can see is by running them at the same time is a slower fill rate.
BTW most manufacturers state on the dryers & washers that you are NOT to dry oiled clothing, rags etc in any dryer for risk of fire... even vegetable oils.

Yeah you will be just fine with two washers. I don't currently run two washers but do run two dryers. As it was with doing the family laundry we were constantly waiting on the dryer to finish. So i got a cheap second dryer to help with that.

We've been using two washing machines & two driers regularly for about 5 years now.
Even with both machines running at the same time, the standard 2" waste copes with draining.

Electrically, each set (washer & drier) has it's own circuit breaker.

we've been running a single washer on a low pressure water system for almost 3 years now & it still runs like a champ. hell there's been times its been trying to fill with no water going into it at all as the tap's off (its set to work off our kitchen sink due to lack of proper hookups in the house - winter project)
