Might as well..... It's getting close to that time of year again and for those of us who ride it's time to get antsy. I had the ol girl out today even though it was drizzling a bit. Gotta get the carbs tuned/synced this year as they aren't quite right (even after many efforts on my part). She's old and small but she gets 65mpg and only costs $75 a year to insure so I'm happy. Here's some pix of her. 83 Honda Shadow VT500

Yeah she's not too bad, I just did fork seals, rejetted and put tires on last year. She's got a bit of an oil leak but adding a half a quart once a week is a small thing compared to pulling/splitting the motor to replace seals.

Gotta love the shadow's, I've been eyeballin an 1100 shadow for sale on CL but i just don't have the funds.

yea funds are not there or i'd have a new saddle and guards for mine... but she might be out of a job in 6 mos so we're trying to keep the spending down...

2006 Honda VT750DC Shadow Spirit. I absolutely love the bike...except when we went to get it running the other day and my father (I share the bike with him) forgot which way the knob had to be for the gas to be on, so he had it off and in turn drained the battery trying to start it... :icon_doh: but none the less, we got the battery out and have it on a trickle charger and am going to try it again tomorrow hopefully as long as it is not storming...ugggghh....

It's striking me as kinda funny, we all drive chevy's but own jap bikes, do i detect a pattern? LOL.

Also the shadow's seem to dominate so far. Keep em coming guys, you've all got some nice bikes :-)
