I won't. My one bus has a C13, bus has 309k on it as of today. It's on it's 3rd motor. And not because of anything we did/didn't do. It just blows up every 100k. First time the head cracked in two and a chunk went through the turbo. Rebuilt by CAT, then the second one had a valve timing solenoid go bad and drop a valve into the cylinder, which then shattered, took out a piston, fed metal to both turbos, which then fed metal to the rest of the motor. Oh, and it did this while at the dealership being diagnosed, ,so the CAT techs are the ones who blew that one up. Now it's on the third and we're waiting for the next thing. The CAT dealer hates this bus, in fact they said that the reason CAT hasn't been producing motors for the last 3-4 years or whatever is because of the C13 being the biggest failure ever. They're all but going bankrupt over that engine. I did hear they have a new motor in the R&D and testing process right now, but honestly a CAT motor isn't designed to be a highway motor, they should have stuck to building low revving heavy machinery powerplants, they were actually GOOD at that. When they started building OTR powerplants is when things started going wrong.

Yeah, the 10's are good strong motors, the 15s leave a little to be desired but are very reliable, and the 13's well, they are underpowered, unreliable, and the bane of my existance lol

right on, good ol 70s GMC/Chev truck proving it's worth
Well, my pics are on my album and garage, never took too many pics of my Blazer out having fun but i never got too wild with it and now it just got relegated to plowtruck use only (for now), our 09 Sierra crew 4x4 is the tow rig and the new to us 01 Monte is the DD. Decent on gas, feels good on the road and seats all 5 of us.

Wow those CAT engines sure are junk then... My HomeHardware rig had 1,026,000km as of now on the original Cummins ISX engine. The turbo has been changed at 880,000km. It may only have 450hp but it tanks 50,000kg through Canada's biggest mountain passes with ease.

Nice Silverado, you have the zone kit? Is that upper or lower strut spacer? I used the ProComp one, its the upper strut spacer. Nice truck, I love my new Illverado.
