Car chase movie
Like I told some of you, I’m working on a car chase film. Small, for the purpose on gaining experience (which I think I’ll get a LOT of it after this one. So far I learned what not to do, haha).
Well, day #1 write up on my blog. http://craigsnedeker.tumblr.com/post/886348671 http://i.littlepix.co.cc/33577.png That photo has not been post-production edited (except contrast) so expect a little better look later. |
Greatest car chase scene, hands down, is from The Blues Movie.
No offense! |
(Good/bad? Never heard of that movie before)
|
ARE YOU SERIOUS?!?!?!!!
they wrecked something like 114 cars @ the end (too bad they were all Mopars :icon_no:) and don't forget about that Pinto! that was hilarious on it's own!! personally, i'd put the Blues Brothers (original) ever so slightly below Bullitt. what other movie has the bad guys driving a Hemi powered Runner ('68), and only being able to use up to 3rd gear (it was a 4 spd car) 'casue that 'Stang couldn't keep up. now that's an awsome chase scene! :icon_wink: kinda BS how Bullitt drove away @ the end of it though. :icon_shrug: |

Halicki (R.I.P) Part 1, 2, 3, 4, worth the 45min IMO http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U6-TlxADdA4 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w9BFG04i-aQ&NR=1 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6UC4L...eature=related http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zfiD2...eature=related EDIT: there's a 5th part too. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s8C3m...eature=related |
Yep, and again, Yep.
It was a hemi Charger, not a roadrunner, and He didn't drive away. lol the whole wheel and assembly was twisted to a disturbing angle at the end. lol |
I don't think my car chases will be quite like those ;) Not as daring or fast ;)
Thanks for the interest though! |

i was talking on the phone with a buddy of mine, about his '68 Road Runner, while typing that out. guess i was kinda influenced by the conversation. it's kinda funny that both cars are '68's, and both cars are Hemi powered. i know it's been a while since i've watched Bullitt, but i'm positive Frank (Steve McQueen) drives off after the crash (guess i've got something to watch tonight! :icon_look:) |
have to agree, the original gone in 60 seconds is the best chase ever with bullitt 2nd. just saw bullitt again the other day, he didnt drive away after the chase. thats why the chick with the porsch had to drive him to the hotel crime scene.
