Cool Truck At Work Today

A client of ours drove his old Land Rover in to his appointment a few days ago. I forgot what year he said it was, it was like a 1960 or so. It is mostly made of aluminum alloy, including the body. Not sure if I like the spare tire location. It is in great shape for the year. A very cool truck indeed.

That is a pretty cool truck, but then again I'm into the classics mainly.

Wow, cool truck. Just look at that state of the art air conditioning system!

C'mon! That fan is CHROME! Chrome I tell ya! It's gotta be fast! That was built when a truck was a truck, not a car in trucks clothing! LOL

pretty neat ride. I think id rather have a 1960's Toyota Landcruiser though. The FJ's just look alot better.

I could recite that movie. My fav movie and actor of all time! I still laugh when I watch it!

don't we all Brad? i think that one was way funnier than the other one.

@ Brent; i guess you would've been blown away buy the shop that was across the complex from my work. the guy was a Land Rover specialist. can't remember what the name of his shop was anymore (he moved a few years ago), but he had two customers that had a total of 9 of these vintage trucks between them. they're unbelieveable in action. he used to climb the 5 feet between our parking lot & the lot for the shipping company behind us, to "test out" the 4WD system after he serviced them. i think it was more to just show off what the trucks could do.

while 5 feet doesn't sound like much, it was an incline of more than 60*! (i measured it since i couldn't believe it the first time i saw him do it)
