do these ball joints need to be replaced?

unfortunately thats the jack holding the vehicle up giving the illusion that its sitting at a sweet height 
ya know i noticed that too, those tires are always worn funny or in bad shape anytime i see them. did they come factory on the s10s? that might be why, tire stores probably recommend them cause thats what came with the truck.
nothing a hose clamp cant fix
funny thing is the tie rod might be the only thing that survived and kept the knuckle from flying out from under the truck, probably bent though
funny you say that, the upper control arm bushes are actually really shot, flopping around by just touching them, i never seen bad upper control arm bushings on a s10 yet. no idea of the miles on this thing, havent looked yet

knowing some of the customers that come through here that might be the case, might have to rig it back together so they can tow it out of here.
i like your ideas and will forward them to the boss we have both of those parts in inventory
