GM owner drives a NISSAN today!

I took a side job at a Nissan dealer to suppliment my meager winter golf course earnings, got to drive a 2013 Pathfinder today! I drove the SV model AWD-What a vehicle!
It was SUCH a let-down getting back in to my 97 Jimmy! Now I am in no way advocating Nissan products:They can only be worked on by the dealer! Some invoice totals I see exceed $2000 for a 3 year old car! But,boy, was that a unit that initially got it right! Let's just see on this redesign! Too bad they approach $45K! I'd sooner put 2K into my 16 year old Jimmy than buy one of those! Last new vehicle I bought was a 91 Suburban...

I was close to signing the papers on a brand new Xterra last summerbut really struggled with the price tag
I decided an 05 Blazer was a lot easier to swallow especially because I could pay cash on the spot :icon_shrug:
I bought a Honda Civic B/N in 01 and the wife still drives it
I thought briefly about selling it when looking at the Xterra and I had buyers coming out of the wood work
The random rust spots in places it shouldnt start rusting on used xterras always worried me

im lucky as i have low standards, i drive all sorts of cars at my work, new, old, cheap, expensive. and when i leave in my old 90 chevy truck i really notice no difference, except the piece of mine that its paid for, not worried about getting hit or scratched and theres not a dang thing on it i cant fix in the driveway with basic hand tools.

I drive domestics and support my own economy. I'm sure imports are nice, but there won't be any in this house, ever!

My kid brother bought himself a Longhorn Ram 3500, and its a sweet truck, but came with a 70k pricetag.
