Late 80s ford 302

Hey guys I found an late 80s ford 302 out of an stang. Im not very experienced with ford motors... I was looking to buy this motor for parts for my workwhore (bronco). Broncos a 91 with an fuel injected 302. I was curious if the parts would Interchange.

here is the Ad ford 302 to T5 bellhousing

I guess Ill call him in the morning and see. :icon_handball:

Well, for 20 bucks there got to be something usable off it. I can't remember for sure, but I thought they changed to the roller cam & lifters somewhere between 85 & 86 on the 302. Also I think there is a diferance on the firing order from a regular 302 compared to a H.O. 302. But over all, I think they have quite a lot of interchangable parts. (I haven't built or wrenched a mustange in over 8 years. Me brain is gettin a lil soggy from not using the info in it! lol) I hope this helps a little, but like I said, I'm not 100% sure on my info.

Yo, Gianni... next time just bear in mind there's 302's, 5L, and 5L H.O. all with differences.

Best is to ask on a fordtruck forum... they'll no doubt have someone who's done transplants from Crown Vic's, Stangs and Birds.
