i've grown up with a family that has only had chevy's and and like neo said this style has been around for years, and thats the style that will stay with the vett, if you really want to complain about something it should be that the new camaro the copo is not street legal cause its to much of a BMF not the fact of something on the vett hasnt changed and wont

And here I thought you knew something about Corvettes until this statement. There was NO '83 vette, plain and simple. There was an '82, with the Crossfire fuel injected engine and the '84, with the Crossfire fuel injected engine. From '75 to '81, with the '81 have an electronicaly controlled carb, the vette was anemic, to say the least. Particularly from '75 to '78.

Every new "generation" of the Corvette, the so called "purists" always whine about it not being a "true" Corvette. Do me a favor, find out what the original Corvette was designed for. Who the market was that it targeted. And just what a "Blue Flame" is.

Until you've owned one, regardless of year, you really have no reason to complain. Kind of like you can't complain about politics unless you voted.

And, yes, I have owned a Corvette, if any of you may be wondering. An '80 with a manual 4 speed. Loved it but the wife not so much. Traded it in on a '98 Camaro SS.

The Camaro whupped the Corvette's butt in every single aspect. But still loved the 'vette for what it was.
